NASA already invented the Prius of planes. As soon as it's practical I predict California will require it for domestic travel ; ). NZ govt just gave Vic uni $6m for electric engine research..

Good on them for being successful. They just need to stop whining about your carbon emissions and mine while *choosing* to travel by private jet. And they need to stop whining about inequality when *demanding* tens of millions to act in a movie.
The hypocrisy and virtue signalling is nauseating.

Even if it's happened once, they call it a 1 in a 100 (or other number) year event, and so she'll also be right.

 

 

Yep, and it almost happened again this last weekend... An alarm was raised, after a full day off it was deemed fit for purpose. But is it?
