So just on 2 years with my model 3, no big drama, 27,000km covered ( less than expected for some reason), just replaced the tyres, spent around $30 on screen wash.

About $800 spent on electricity.

Its strange having a car 2 years on thats better than when I bought it.

Also I bought it because it was the cheapest AWD EV with 400+km, it still is.

That's good to hear. Had my delivery appointment on 27th August to pickup new Model 3. Now will just have to wait and see when I get it!

There's a good couple of hundred Model 3s parked up in a lot next to a park I sometimes run in. Quite a sight to see actually.

Honestly a lot more white ones than I would have thought, I don't personally like white car but apparently everyone else does.

Or they're unwilling to spend extra to get an interesting colour!

Is there a chance that paying for an alternative colour would also put a purchaser over the $80k rebate threshold? (Even if that's selecting other add-on options over colour to ensure they're under the limit.)

Ouch new tyres at 27,000. I'll be moaning my arse off if I don't get 45,000km. Two years also, 38,000km and all I've bought is fuel.

If you don't pay for servicing then you'll have a nice deferred bill coming....

free service plan for x number of years is what he meant, presumably 15,000km per service and next one by 45,000 or 3 years whichever comes first

But who wants to burn that shit

I paid an extra $1500 I think for a different colour and for the 19inch wheels. For the SR+ about $73k from top of my head.

Not rotating will do it. Mine's adaptive AWD so the front tyres get a bit more of a hammering than the back ones. Without rotation they'd have been toast by now. The type of driving has a big impact. I do a lot of open road driving. Currently on Conti Sport 5's will probably go to Michelin Pro Sport 4's next time.

I'm at 40k in my Model 3 Long Range Performance ("Stealth") and it's currently on 40k on the factory tyres (Michelin Pilot Sport 4) and currently they're at around 3mm with basically even wear on all tyres. Had a rotation at 10k but haven't bothered since.
