jasonwaiheke: Sure will take a picture and post tonight.  I have the 6 seater model, but I understand this is also similar with the 7 seater model.

The first row of seats in the back have ISOFIX in both seats if the 6 seater or the two outer seats if a 7 seater.  ISOFIX and LATCH are the same thing

The second row in the back have nothing, the tags on the back are for luggage not achor points unless it is a silver looking flap that has a car seat with an achor picture on it that opens up to reveal a steel rod running though the back of the seat.  So Toyota ran the strap down the back of the seat, through the carpet at the very bottom of the back of the seat, under the parcel tray (not through it) into the compartment underneath and fitted the bolt in the compartment.  Very tidy, professional and well done.

The Toyota guy said there is no official safety documentation for the that model and year indicating where the achor bolts are desighed to be fitted, so with no pre-determined location it is about finding the best structural location in the vehicle to attach that works with ensuring the car seat is safest and all other functions and features are working as they were before.

So, did they do any drilling or just located a hidden anchor point under the carpet (like the photo I uploaded)?

No, I don't think there was a factory designed / factory specified location to install the anchor bolt as previously mentioned, they just located the best place they could and drilled it in.

I know the pictures are small, sorry, but the strap runs flat down the back of the seat, then through a hole in the compartment under the parcel tray, but not through the parcel tray, then a point is anchored in the compartment, and the strap attaches to that.
