Headunits, speakers wiring looms etc are all priced at  vaguely reasonable prices eg roughly what you would expect to pay,
But holey footy sock down the jockstrap batman, the adaptors to allow you to mount your aftermarket speakers into you car are just ridiculous for a piece of metal with holes drilled in it, i am seriously considering a pair of tin snips an an oventray, or perhaps one of those plastiky chopping boards as they would probably cut fairly easily

The adapter looms are anything but reasonably priced. And I find it insulting that the stereo to iso isn't supplied with the stereo since that is how it connects to most European cars.

Plywood is good to make adapter plates/spacers for door speakers.  Cheap and easy to work with, choice of thicknesses, light and strong c/w MDF.
