Looking at 'upgrading" my spyder from a 2010 RS model to the newer 2014/15 F3 Model.
It has a 1330 cc Rotax engine.
Still may go for the touring RT model- luxury for a passenger but a lot more $$$$$$$

It is frighteningly expensive in top spec that is for sure!

A friend of mine (Indian rider) test drove/rode a Spyder and really liked it. His view was that the adjustable suspension was worth it's weight in gold for the handling improvements.

What would your 2010 be worth today?

Thats one of the features of these vehicles you only need a car license !!
Also the registration costs are far cheaper than a MC. This my Spyder cost $134

Was wondering if you'd consider some kind of local Caterham alternative, but having seen your above post...

Still, I've typed it now 😀

...and now I've made the mistake of checking out the prices !

They certainly are not cheap, that is for sure.

However the dealers are open to a bit of discounting, I found.

If you are new to the motorcycle thing and so in need of helmets, riding gear etc then even more discount can be negotiated for that too.

Geektastic: I finally bought one yesterday!

Yay welcome to the club.

I should have earlier mentioned in this post that in 2016 my old 2010 RS Spyder that I got new was written off after someone didn't give way to me.

I was able to purchase then the 1st F3 Ltd that was brought into the country by JFK.

Now its got 54 k on the clock and I have been very happy with it.

Some years ago I created a Facebook page for all owners of the Spyder and the Ryker. We now have over 400 members.
