I find that he is quite cold, and has little personality. This isn't a sitcom. It will be interesting though to see how it works. It all depends on how they play off against one another.

All they need to do now is replace that northern jackass Evans and I might watch it....

The correct term is Northern Monkey, you Southern shandy drinker..

If I remember the film dialogue correctly, it's "f*****n northern monkeys"!

He's a better choice than evans ever was in terms of a presenter for a show that's sold to 200+ territories worldwide.

I always felt repulse, like I was going to vomit or throw something at the TV when I watched the spin off shows.  I expect something like this for the new one, but hey, it'll have a bit budget, so I'll give it a go, whilst all the time knowing I will back the other guys.

Not saying Clarkson wasn't an idiot, but I liked the output they created, regardless of what went on behind the scenes.

People forget those guys have had a very long time to hone their relationship, and actually were at risk of becoming caricatures of themselves.  Much like the cast of friends did in the end, with each characters personalties taken to extremes by the writers, compared to how they were originally.  This inadvertently gives the Top Gear cast an opportunity to revise that, without it seeing odd, as the audience will now expect something at least to change with the new show.

The three has this thing called chemistry, even though the show was scripted.

Whenever TG comes on BBC Knowledge, I always watch it, even though I might have seen that episode before.

I agree MLB is great in Episodes, playing a parody of himself.

I am looking forward to seeing it and will make my decision about it after a few episodes. I am hoping it will be more about cars and without the xenophobia and racism.
