I'd be interested in retro-fitting to my 6 month old Mazda... but the price would have to suit.

 

I know what a car play unit would land for - but I'm guessing they'd charge a fortune to install it!

I had a look at installing a head unit for android auto some months back, but balked at the $1,200 price tag.

 

And then Google enabled android auto to work on my phone (-;

 

So I have my phone in a cradle, with audio connected via bluetooth, and my android auto experience is pretty much the same as the expensive head unit would have given me. Actually, maybe better, as the cradle has my phone pretty much at eye level, which I reckon is better than having to look downwards to a head unit.
