I can't get 3-phase at my house without spending thousands on trenching new cable and I also need the consent of 4 neighbours (two of whom are absentee landlords who live in China). It took me 8 months to get consent for fibre.

I'm thinking when I install solar and batteries I may be able to deliver 3-phase locally. But haven't looked into it in detail.

I'm looking at 32A 1-phase EVSE units as my Hyundai tops out at 7.4kW on the AC side.  I'm considering the Rolec one as it's small, seems to be the cheapest and I have a spare T2-T2 cable that can be left in place with it.

Any experiences with this unit or others under $2k, or any with WiFi access?
