You keep looking at AliExpress ones but I would certainly not. Go have a look at the eScooters subreddit and see how many have failed due to poor quality construction (aluminium?) causing the rider serious injury. If you don't want to spend much, just go for the M365. It also has every set of spares on AliExpress.

650 for a Zero-9 is fantastic value Ichiu! Water resistance aside, for that price that's a steal for an otherwise high quality and well reviewed scooter.

A bit of flex is normal for that model to a degree, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7c3P_SM8rW8

The stem's really designed for control and stability, not for structural integrity so a bit of flex is standard in most scooters.

Oops, sorry to have led you astray - I don't have a Zero 9, rather it's the big brother of the 9, ie the Zero 10. It's a powerful beast (1000w) so pulls well (over 40kmh on the flat, even with my bulk!)  and is particularly useful on hills (where I found smaller scooters can really struggle). But it has three settings with different max speeds so it's also easy to ride at slower speeds.

https://freedpev.co.nz/products/zero-10 (which is where I bought mine from)

https://www.blacksheeptrading.co.nz/product/sonic1000/ (this is what I believe to be a knock-off cheaper version)

The two main reasons I upgraded to this from the basic Mi scooter was speed (the Mi wasn't fast enough to get me out of trouble - nearly got taken out at a roundabout as I didn't have the extra oomph to get totally out of the way of a car that  didn't give way) and suspension (I hated the way every bump was transmitted through; totally different experience with the Zero).

Just had a ride of it to check it's all working and it reminded me how much fun it is to use - kinda made me wonder if I really want to sell it! But no point in having both an e-bike and scooter...

I'd been basing my suggested price on the erroneous assumption it was the 9 and taking into account the current cost of versions of that model, so now I realise it's a 10 I'd need to revise that amount. But if anyone's interested in it before I list it on TM this Saturday (as they're doing 1/2 price commission) let me know via PM; if I get the time today I may add it to the FS forum as well.

Edit: Now listed for sale on GZ's FS forum: https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=77&topicid=305853
