Never mind, didn't need a code once I read it with my glasses on.

Nice to know I have no demerit points, my licence is current and the cars are licenced, warranted and RUC current.

Ge0rge: Apparently the maximum amount of beta testers has been reached, was unable to have a look at it this morning.

I just downloaded and installed it so maybe try again.

Looks good, I wonder how soon before expiry reminders are for WOF and rego?

Google says No.

Installed, if only for the RUC reminders. Now we just need AT HOP in our phone wallets so we don't need to carry around a card ...

Yes! That's the last one for me too now that I don't need to carry around my credit card or driver's licence* . It is frustrating that Apple Wallet offers to add transit cards... only to not see AT Hop in there. Come on AT. What are you being paid all those billions for?

*You are required to have your actual DL with you when driving but I suspect Mr Plod will let you off.

Looks like I'm out. I have a RealMe account but I can't verify my identify. I have none of these documents.

As an Australian citizen I'm a permanent resident of New Zealand but I have no immigration certificate to use in place of an NZ Passport.

Is an "NZ Immigration Certificate" a thing?

Prior to a couple of years ago when I became a NZ citizen I was a permanent resident (for 40+ years) and I've never had an 'Immigration Certificate".  Every time I renewed mu Dutch passport I would apply for a transfer of my Returning Resident's Visa and whenever I returned from overseas travel I would be granted a Residence Permit ( a stamp in my passport originally, it may have become electronic in later years).

A Google search for "NZ Immigration Certificate" throws up a bunch of links to Immigration NZ but none of those point to a "NZ Immigration Certificate" as a tangible thing.  Maybe it's a generic catch-all for some form of proof of identity combined with showing that the applicant is residing here legally?

Edit to add:  I had my RealMe identity originally verified several years ago in person at a Post Shop using my Dutch passport with aforementioned visas & permits.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Probably exactly the same way they approach their local digital ID

Digital Drivers licensing is more advanced in the US than it is here...

The NZTA App will enable an easier way for Kiwis to pay for Vehicle Registration and Road User Charges (RUC)

Paving the way for RUCs for petrol-powered vehicles.

Just signed up and installed on Google Play. All seems very seamless. Even read the terms and conditions (they were doing quite well until lawyer conservatism kicked in at the end with the indemnities and liabilities too).

Doesn't work for me, once I get past the real me bit and it tries to connect the account I get the "something went wrong try again" loop

IOS from within the app.  Realme has no problems showing my details but once I agree to give NZTA access no joy linking me up... I wonder if there is some discrepancy in the data one or the other has that prevents a match?
