 I miss the clutch. I love driving manual.

 

The clutch plates on my Toyota High Ace got wet and stuck together and I had to drive hundreds of kilometers up and down remote steep mountain roads somewhere in the middle of Australia changing gears by matching the engine speed to the wheels. At one point we encountered the longest train in the world and I had to drive in circles on the side of the road until it finally passed. I was so glad when we finally reached a town where the van could be serviced. I never want to see another manual transmission as long as I live!
