I have 2 "Motorcycles" but I'm a bit far away and my "bikes" are jokes.

Honda MB100 2cy [L] This thing is just so 80's commonly referred to as a "bucket"
Top speed 100Kph, maximum comfortable riding speed on those nasty skinny ChengShin tyres, 85Kph

And I'm the only one who can claim to have a motorcycle parked in the boot of my car (Primera), a BYlight Moped to be exact but still a hell of a lot of fun as an impromptu dirt bike. [Car licence] top speed, about 40Kph at best.

The inaugural meeting of The GZMC took place in Pukekohe today. I may or may not have taken John's Z750 for a wee ride afterwards and may very well have very much enjoyed it ;-)

Hi, I have been a keen motorcyclist for over 30yrs, currently our stable has my RF900 and TZR250RC GP replica, my wifes GB500 and the boys have a small trail bike. I dont get out on the bike so much these days due to time constraints, although the eldest boy and I had a great weekend away at the classic racing at Puke a couple of months ago.

We put the " L " plate onto the 750 honest we did

Just got my real licence, blue ewwwwwwwwww. The $400 and 25 demerits for no L plate is quite a deterrent!

Indeed it is, never heard of any bikers actaully getting the fine tho.

Friend of mine went through a cop stop on his bike without the L plate. Only reason they got him was because the warrant had not been stamped and had expired without him knowing. I think he recieved about $800 of fines on that day... OUCH!

Id be in if you have a ride in Wellington.

I have an old Honda 1990 CD250U which I’ve have for 12 or so years.

It’s a bit pathetic for long trips but fine for local fun and the daily commute to work.

I’ve had my full bike licence for 19 years, just can’t afford to get something decent (my wife tells me family comes first!)

I'd like to opt in as well! However havn't seen much interest from anyone else in the South Island yet, let alone Chch. Wouldn't want to be a loner now.
I have my old faithful '87 cbr1000 (fastest production bike at the time for the un-educated

) which Im currently in the process of stripping down and doing a streetfighter conversion, as well as a 04 Marshin (chinese junk) Cheetah 200cc dual purpose which actually makes a good commuter/river hack.

I've got an '08 Triumph Street Triple. Could be keen for some rides, although not early-morning over the rimutaka's as from about nowish it's prone to ice up the top of the hill and the last ice I hit wrote the bike off :)
