richms: On all the dual camera ones I have looked at the rear camera is analog sd composite video. So useless really.

It has 2 cameras, one is mounted in the front window (and has the SD storage, with max 64 GB card), and the other is linked via a coax cable (transfers video and power) for the rear window.

Also saw one where posters was suggesting avoiding using "shiny" vinyl car products to clean the dashboard which is one I will look at next time in a car shop.

That would be me. Its a Blackvue DR500GW-HD. Pretty good Dashcam.

Here is a video review of the Blackvue DR650GW-2CH. Might be a nice upgrade to the one I have at the moment.
