joker97: i don't think you can run at 50% and only be lapped twice
joker97: that's barely 20%. jensen said 30% himself. i guess the honda isn't as powerful as the merc that makes upwards of 700hp, rumour has it that is breaks 800hp.
you cannot run at 50% and only be lapped twice in 58 laps. more like lapped every 4-5 laps. or even every 2 laps maybe.
joker97: car development is engineer AND driver. without vettel, it's up to ricciardo. i don't know how good he will be at helping RBR development, without the ace.
Jaxson: Must say this just isn't working, on multiple levels.
Some fundamentals really need addressing, a real soul search if you will. Some terms just need attention.
Racing = covering a distance as fast as you can. With the limited fuel, we're seeing large sections dedicated to coasting around.
Slipstream = used to be this cool maneuverer you saw, with the lead car smashing a hole in the air and the trailing cars tucking in. Now it's 'dirty air', 'can't live there for long without overheating' etc
Engine Development Freeze / Tokens = Keeps the winning team at the top. Good for them, good reward for their technical developments, but punishes all the other teams for 3 years.
eco does not equal race. Save money on the teams transport to the track for instance, but putting eco into race just doesn't sit right.
Noise/spirit etc. V12's had a certain sound about them. Today seemed better than last year, but still along the lines of a low frequency growling lawn mower.
Don't know about others, but from comments I've read on the likes of the James Allen website, there are a lot of dedicated fans really questioning why they are staying now.
When the warm up races sound better and have more exciting action, you know you've got some work to do...

Good points. And....
Seeing the World Drivers Championship down to two people. The the comments how hard the race was, blah, blah.
When will racing to tught and close? Soin, when all the teams get a handlie on the cars and rules. Then they will change the rules and get new engines...
Boring? I knwo boring, the Schumacher days were boring and processional. Within the current artifically managed F1 circus with 20,000 rules, there are and will be some good racing, but that will probbaly be 5 or 6 cars dicing every lap, not 24, or 14, or 8
Its not Hamiltons fault but how can anyone compare his 3 titles, when two of them were 2 horse races?
i thought Hamilton has 2
