a strange hobby of mine is looking out for funny car names - all of these seen in NZ
I wonder what the chariot is thanking me for? Can you only use the Fiat during the weekend? What happens when you have an accident in a maxi life - does it help?

My personal fave was one of the many Corolla variants called Toyota Windy

What I think is weird is Mazda's current branding they slap on many of their models 'SkyActiv', I hear it's a fuel efficiency technology but the name is just so strange.

I saw a truck a couple of days ago called....... Get this..... an Isuzu light dump. I almost died laughing!

Huayra

The Huayra follows on from the Zonda, by being named relating to wind.

The Zonda takes it's name from a regional term for an air current above Argentina

The successor to the Zonda, the Huayra takes it's name from Wayra Tata, which means "God of the winds" in Quechua, the official language of the Inca Empire.

Koenigsegg Regera

Agera = The name Agera comes from the Swedish verb 'agera' which means "to act" or in imperative form "(You) act!".

Regera = The name Regera is a Swedish verb, meaning "to reign or to rule."

Personally, I like the names of the Pagani's and Koenigsegg's as they have some meaning, not just something dreamt up by the marketing dept.

Although, the best name as to go to the Koenigsegg One:1. The name refers to 1 PS for 1kg of weight, the car weighs 1360kg and has 1360PS.

And that silly half English rant posted on the MR2 window, and on the back of some quasi 4wd vehicles about losing yourself to nature etc. All a bit of crap really.

I have had both the MR2 and the Isuzu MU but I am rather taken by the E Soul which I understand in Korea has instead of the E variant has an R variant.
Put that together.
