I think the school holidays must help. I come in from the complete opposite direction and had one of the quickest commutes ever.

....and, Ngauranga Gorge totally closed again, both ways.  Owing to chance of flying debris.

The debris was from a sign that got damaged by the wind. Northbound lanes are now open again. Southbound still closed.

Open both ways again now.  That was pretty quick.
