Another truck company has gone Electric over Hydrogen. Not a huge surprise given their owner, but MAN is planning to start making electric heavy trucks with 500km of range starting 2024, eventually getting to 700-1000km of range.

To be fair, it probably couldn't have been done a few years ago.

Despite all the hype, our hero Elon hasn't done it so far either. Despite unveiling it in 2017 and being slated for production in 2019 Tesla have now pushed the Tesla Semi launch date back to 2022.

I thought the Tesla door handle was needlessly complex, and most useless, since the mirror contributes much more to aerodynamics, but slowly Tesla has improved the handle.

I think it's going to be a while before you can take a photo like that in New Zealand unless someone privately imports a Rivian.

Rivian haven't announced a release date for Australasia yet. The last I heard when they were asked directly they were pretty cagey about exactly when it was going to grace the shores of Australia. Apparently some after the release in Europe.
