I'd expect late next year at the earliest.
It'll be what $130-140k or up too.
Decent sized truck for NZ, bit bigger than a hilux but not full on f150 size, and the range is fine for nz
I just wouldnt want to be stuck behind one at a 50kw chargenet charger...

At the very earliest I'd guess. Some people seem to be hanging their hat on the fact it is going to Europe next year (first quarter?) therefore it'll come Downunder soon after. I kind of suspect Europe will mean left hand drive Europe to start with. Once they have a version for right hand drive Europe, and then once they have satisfied demand in the US and Europe will we see them bother with Australia and New Zealand. Our (Oz/NZ) market is pretty small for them to put too much focus on to start with.
I haven't checked the range but your comment about the range being fine for New Zealand raises another point. The range may not be so great for Australia with the large distances a lot of people tend to drive over there. That could make it a better seller here in New Zealand than across the ditch

Theres a few RHD markets but the big one, UK, doesnt buy a lot of Utes relatively speaking.
RobDickinson:South Africa, and a fair bit of SE Asia? In particular South Africa have a reasonable SUV market (for security sake) which would suit the Rivian R1S

Yeah SA but I think they have high import duties, tesla has only just started selling there.
Thats a proper (military) hummer though rather than the new truck thing by the looks?
Jerry rigs build cost is ~$100k not including the donor car or the flash interior, or his time etc
Range - up to 750 miles - hahahahaa

That's cos SA has a large car assembly industry (18th largest in the world apparently) including BMW, Merc, Toyota, VW etc. etc.
