GV27:

I find the Contact free weekends plan to be better for EV charging than most of the EV specific ones tbh.

if you only require charging on the weekend

Merdian has the lowest regular pricing and are offering 6 mth's free EV charging on signup but you have to e-mail for a quote.

@ jonathan18 - Would you mind sharing their daily/unit rates? Cheers.

Sure, but I'm not sure how much relevance they'll have to your situation, given rates are so influenced by location, lines company etc... In central PN we're paying $1.0652 daily charge / $0.3004/kWh daytime / $0.1532/kWh nighttime.

Yep, I'm pretty sure I had to contact Meridian via the web to sign up for the plan, but it was little effort and their customer service was excellent. Six months free charging is a pretty decent offer - we got $200 credit. With two EVs and gas hot water, charging is a decent proportion of our electricity bill.

I had thought we'd only signed up for a one year fixed term but, having just checked, it's two; so at least I won't have to worry about getting hit with the increases until next Jan!

Thanks for that. Just read the fine print..."Up to 50% off at night" and they calculate a "Free month" as being worth $35 LOL.
