Driving southbound on (one-way) Victoria St. Wellington this morning.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

I can sort-of understand it in that case if you're not used to it, but I also see cars going the wrong way down the one-lane one-way street outside work. You'd think some sort of alarm bells would go off when you're having to "fight" the other traffic...

Agreed, people make mistakes (especially with not much traffic about, it was before 7am).................they're still muppets though and they deserve to be posted in this thread. tongue-out

Driving along a very long, straight and wide road in the city I live in. Some complete idiot had hit a fence and taken it out and then gone on to demolish part of a low brick wall outside of a church next door.

No idea if they were caught for their "handiwork". IMO, people who exhibit such poor driving should be made to sit a test to prove they are competent to drive again, no matter what their age or circumstances are.

I have this happen so often at circles that I watch the entries like a hawk, did you not see them though?

Imagine if that was mandatory for all vehicle related crashes where you received an infringement notice, court fine or more serious penalty.

Featherston Street

Here's where the accident I mentioned above occurred. There are long black braking marks on the road before the crash. About half of the dark fence on the left is now demolished along with a chunk of the brick wall.

I wouldn't have thought this piece of road was exactly a challenging thing to drive along. Another frigging muppet speeding.

I'd like to nominate the on-bail-driving-a-stolen-ute {insert epithet of choice} for killing an innocent couple on their way home from dinner the other day.

Muppet does not even come close and if the government want to do something useful, spending some real time, effort and money on improving driving standards, highway design standards, road furniture and dealing with idiots allowed out on bail would rank far higher up the list than many of the things they have decided to do so far.

Yep, i'd classfiy that as serious criminal offending as opposed to incompetent driving skills.

I heard they are collecting extra petrol tax to reduce roading construction and focus on cycleways.
