@Dingbatt The service centre indicated late February / March for my car but they also said there is a huge amount of White SR+'s ordered. At-least my Silver will stand out!

The other thing about the Midnight Silver is if you ever decide to get your car wrapped (to make it stand out even more) then the door sills (when open) don’t stand out like DBs like they seem to on white. And  the silver will probably show the dirt the least of the 5 colours.

michaelmurfy: Well a few days ago I finally pulled the trigger with ordering a Long Range! Now the hardest thing is waiting for it to arrive.

Were you able to haggle them on price at all to fall within range for the clean car rebate?

This is the model I'm interested in too but it's just outside of the price range to qualify

Tesla does not haggle on price. The price is what is advertised.

Others have tried but the answer will always be "No". Like Toyota, their policy is that the price is what it is. With all stock being sold before it's even made, they have no reason to haggle when someone else will just buy the car at the advertised price.

I plan to when I head into thee Tesla showroom in Auckland this Friday, it was a simple question to Michael if he was able to successfully haggle on the price or not.....

You know the staff are not really salespeople and they would just point you at the website to order right?

Long range would have to come down over $5k, yes they could do it a number of ways but they obviously dont care because they are just selling heaps of SR

Is that what they did with you when you ordered yours?
