To some extent it doesnt matter how good the cameras and AI/crash avoidance is, physics, people and other cars will cause accidents.

 

It can only stop so quickly.

WRT 5 minute charging.

 

I guess they will just plug the cable directly into a hydro dam (or nuclear power plant). When you consider a domestic house supply maxes out at about 15kW (240Vx63A), then a bank of chargers capable of a 5 min charge time (20 to 80% on a 80kWh battery = 576kW times the number of chargers) is probably going to brown-out the town. So, nice in theory, but the DC cable from the charger to the car is not going to be the primary constraint.

Totally fair and unbiased testing and reporting by a lidar sensor manufacturer there. 

 

 

 

lets ignore that tesla have aced the US and European pedestrian collision tests.

No the etron gt and taycan top out at about 270kw at the moment
