There is no standard "12v" connectors on the Lithium Ion battery in the front - it is a sealed unit: https://insideevs.com/news/546087/tesla-liion-12v-auxiliary-battery/

If you needed to jump it for any reason to boot the ECU there is basically a way to expose the positive cable and just ground to the chassy.

I'll have a look at mine at some point but don't think you're going to be running accessories directly off the battery anymore.

Yes I had watched the video you linked. In one image there looks like there is a binding post with a red insulating cover over it beside the battery. Probably to boot the Control Unit as you say.

There is a massive aftermarket for things people would have liked their Model 3 to have. But, because they are built to a budget, have not been included. Suppliers like Hansshow have some things wired directly to the battery. It will be interesting to see if they have a work around.

Hey, does anyone know where the access to the Supercharger on K Rd is? My wife was there about 20 minutes ago trying to find it. She saw the entrance to the Service centre, but the shutters were down. Couldn't find anything else that looked promising.

Yep it’s a pain the the a***. Entrance is on Howe st (next street over) and there is a code
you have to punch in at the gate. It was on Google maps from memory.

Click on the Supercharger icon on the map it gives the address, the code to get in and extra infoi like how many stalls are free ... zoom in as well to get a better idea of the entrance on Howe Street.

Ah yes - just checked and there is a boot covering the positive terminal. Negative will be on the chassis.

Plus than you get whacked with this at the bottom of the page "Estimated Delivery: 6-9 months" - even when its totally stock with no changes from the default.....

I suspect it's a lot to do with the EDD that's forcing the price up. They're basically almost sold out for 2022, so good old supply and demand pushing up the price.

At this stage, this does basically kill all hope for a Model Y variant falling under the rebate threshold, even if the RWD version does come here.

Awesome. Thanks for looking at it for me.

What do you actually see after paying your $400 to them. When I go onto my tesla account it has a reservation there, but when I click it it just takes me to design a car, not what I have already confirmed. Is this what is supposed to happen? Im wondering if my account is screwed up since I paid them the $1000 back when it first was announced.

It shows my ordered car but without specs. It doesn't show me a page where I can design a car.

Just pulled the trigger!

Do you see something like this:

and when you click it you get this:

or something else?

When I press start designing it just takes me to the options thing which I already did, and then wants another $400 at the end of it. I never got an email from them after the payment went from my card which is why I am assuming that something is screwed up.

That's not my experience.

I received an email and text message straight away after payment.
