Those shadows are a nice ride, the wife is looking at stepping up to one, just need to make sure she can reach the pegs. 5ft nothing is a bit short for some of those forward controls :D

Another Wellington GZMC here.

I ride a 125cc Vespa ET3. Not quite the sport bikes the rest of you ride, but I find it great for both round town, and for longer (60 - 150k) rides up North.

Would love to take it further one day, but I need to hone my repair skills first, lest I be left stranded on the side of the road.

nominate a day John. If on a day off will make the day trip from Auckland to Taupo

that would be an ecumenical matter

Keen as on my brand shiny new 2010 Ducati Monster 696+ :-)

Did 1300km in 3 days last weeks.

Any sort of trip is shift work permitting for me too but I'm keen.

Hi John

So no riders in Welly then? Thats a shame! If you'll have me I'll represent down this end. I often in summer take the Duc on business trips up your way if your both ever keen for a ride.

Sweet, so should I friend you and let you know when I'm up. Always good to have a local tour guide or two.

Thanks Scott. She's the one in my avatar a 2000 900SS sp. I see you have a monster, nice ride. Those new ones are imensely flickable with an awesome power to weight.

Mine is a factory special thats had some fun mods done to it. Makes it a bit toey though.

Having now spotted this thread I shall out myself as a biker too.
