Well you stepped the right way. I had a few K's on a 696 and in no way found it wanting. It maybe the baby but its a good bike in its own right. You'd be dissapointed on anyone elses 700 odd cc offering.

Yeah I love it. Plus I have an excuse to tradeup in a little while :-)

Took the Streetfighter for a few blats, nice but I'm loving the ergonomics of the Monster (wide tank, feel like youre sitting over the front wheel, quite upright)

Scott, have you done the Martinborough ride in the weekends? Always a shipload of bikes over there every weekend it seems.

I've got a Triumph Street Triple. Poor thing doesn't get as much use as it should as the girlfriend has an aversion to fanging it around the twisties for some reason.

The eRiders group tend to leave from the Rimutaka Caltex station on Ferguson drive in Brown Owl  at 8:30 on Sunday mornings and generally head over to martinborough or carterton or somesuch for morning tea. Usually at least a dozen bikes.

Not really related to Wellington, but recently had the opportunity to take a Yamaha 600cc from Lisbon round the coast road through Estoril/Cascais (Ian Fleming's inspiration for Casino Royale) out to Europe's westernmost point, and then back through the highlands. Absolutely amazing!

Hi all

Joining GKMC .

I had a new blue 2010 Ninja 250R since last April, but grew out of it and traded to a new Suzuki GSX650F and love it. Had it a week, but family issues have cut my kms to only 204...... to date!

The "F" is basically an updated Bandit with a GSXR fairing, modifed cam to boost low to mid torque and HP, but it has all the GSX R refinements externally, i.e.dash, looks

Anyone else from ChCh here??

Hi there, John here. I just come across this thread.

I am joining the GZMC.

I am in wellington. My ride is a 2010 Buell XB12R. I love my bike and ride it all the time rain or shine.

I shall post a pic or two. I would be keen to join in your rides.
