91 is just over $3 at Waitomo in Wellington, but Thursday is typically a ~15c discount day, so lets see if it rises back up...  ( It didn't jump back up last week, so we're down around 50ce/litre since the beginning of last week)

Waitomo currently 41c per litre cheaper than both Mobil and BP in Karori (undiscounted), who I swear compete to see which of them can be the dearest in the region.

Take my kid to sport at Karori Park a couple of times a week, so know those two places well...

It truely baffles me there are appear to be plenty of people in Karori who are not willing to drive 6km down to Waitomo to potentially save up to $20 on a tank of fuel.......

JPNZ:Retail 100m down the road from work at NPD is currently $3.16 for Diesel but I'd expect that to drop a little. Our rate is commercial but the max charged on 8/4/26 to 14/4/26 was $3.73 so a 0.95c drop in 2 weeks.

No No No. It dropped either 95c or $0.95. Not 0.95c (that's less than 1 cent).

Reminds me of this

What an epic mathemathical clusterf! Top marks for patience that man.

For the next trick how about kW vs kWh? That takes even greater mental gymnastics for many people.

I think the problem with the electric one is it would be like describing a combustion engine's fuel tank capacity in horsepower per hour.

You forgot to include kW/h in your comparison. ;-)
