hi team,

I have a small question for u,

i got a alarm fixed from a shop a few months back and when ever i drive over gravel (rocky) road, the open door light would come on, n the 4 indicator lights would come on.

Now recently, the open door is constantly on and I have had to disconnect the door open detection from alarm but door is still showed open in dashboard light.

Do you think its a car or alarm problem?

Can you pls guide me ?? I need to know so that i can approach the installer with better understanding and to get this issue resolved.

Sounds like a wire has come off one of your door switches and shorting to earth.
What type of car?

many alarm installers will just throw a wire in between the boot switch and the door switch so that both will trigger the alarm. A friend had the same thing in their car with the light coming on and their dodgey-as install job had come off on the bootlid switch.

Not sure why it would cause the indicators to come on however, should just make the interior light and the light on the dash come on.

yeah i am suspecting a bad install work too.

it was done at a *insert country making cheap goods* ese place , probably employs cheap labour without any proper training and think may have fallen victim, all for the price.
