I have used Joshua from Autotrix to do various Jobs and he is very professional and does the job very well. He will come to your place to do the installation.

Great idea. Reversing cameras are one of those things that, once you have one, you wonder why they are not compulsory. Get sensors added as well.

Good on you but they aren't foolproof. They won't see the child running from the side at the last second. And you will need to take your eyes off the screen to use other mirrors/viewpoints. Not to mention that your screen can be pretty useless if you have the sun shining on it.

You really do need to know that the child CAN'T be on the drive in my not so humble opinion.

I have recently fitted a camera but I wouldn't rely on it. However, TVOne showed 32 kids could be hidden behind a car so the camera would have sorted that!

Like kiwitrc says, sensors are a good idea, too. No matter where your eyes are, you will always hear the annoying beeps!

All the best.

I'll add a me too for people that actually walk into the path of a reversing vehicle, and I am not referring to small children.  It amazes me that people are not hurt every day of the year in some supermarket car parks.  I imagine most of these people are heading for their own vehicles, so know the visibility limitations of a reversing vehicle with cars either side, but they still proceed as if wearing blinkers!
