Because I almost managed it today!!!

Was driving the old family truck this evening around a left hand bend and Mr "I'm Better than Rossi" came hurtling around the corner, leaning right over with his head 3 feet over the centre line!

I know I made an eeking sound, I can only imagine he inhaled his bike seat through his arse as he did a turtle impression to avoid providing me with a new ornament on the bull bars!

He did manage to straighten up and not ditch his bike and himself though, good bike rather than good rider I think!

As an ex-bike rider and truck driver, I was amazed at the amount of looneys that do that over the Rimutaka Hill Rd. Mind you, cars are just as bad.

Not personally, but I've seen a few videos of decapitated former bikers.

Why did an admin edit the title of this thread ?  I was talking about a particular type of motorbike accident, where by a moron hangs his head over the centre line inviting oncoming traffic to remove it!  If I wanted to ask about car vs bike I would have titled it accordingly.

You might not enjoy it on the busa .. Roads are in a shocking state, holes, gravel, poo and other hazards.
Definite motard or slow cruiser territory!

Hitting a possum on a sports bike would be unpleasant, I've gone over a possum on my motard and it was lumpy!! Your busa might not like it as much! :-)

i had a gang of bikers overtaking every car they come across inc mine, regardless of speed, regardless of bend on road, regardless of double yellow lines, regardless of oncoming traffic! is that normal behaviour of biker gangs?
