Hi guys,Im fresh and new to geekzone. So bear with me please if you can.
I brought me a deregistered 2OO2 Honda Accord for the engine to swap in mine thats unregistered an unwarrent but still in system. My orginal Accord has a cracked head gasket or something.
I was wondering what kind of money I was looking at for reregisteration,Prelimary check and a Entry certification to make her legal? She looks lke she would fly through a wof.And by the time a buy a block and tackle, something to strengthing up my shed or an engine lift, oils and gaskets, etc.(not to forget beer for my labour. And that would have to be at time and a half for weekend work.haha.).
I might be better off just reregistering this new one and saving time, effort and money.be haopy with any suggesting. Cheers

it cost us the best part if $3000 but that was with new lyres front suspension and rust.

you looking at least $1000 for new plates and  the inception and at least 6 mouths rego

best thing i can tell you take all seals off doors and the boot and check for rust if any clean it up  or it would need  to be sent to a authorized certifier to pass at a cost

the check is more harder to pass the a standard wof

depends on what needs to be done during the compliance.

basically it comes down to what condition the car is in when it goes to get checked.

its one of those how long is a piece of string questions

your best place to ask Honda related questions like this is nzhondas.com
