Recently bought one and first NZ owner.  The dealer said the Navigation system had been disabled (and fair enough) but the unit has a DVD logo and will accept a DVD disk.  But what it might do with it is completely unknown.

Obviously I don't intend to watch a DVD as I'm driving about, but could I if parked - or use it for mp3 audios?
Or do anything with it? Various screens come up as you muck about, but all in Japanese.

Thanks for any info...

Cheers - Kirk

Sorry not sure if this is a question or comment but if it's from 2004 it's 11 years old best idea would be to rip it out
