Hi all,

Just wondering anyone got Pionner carplay headuit installed in the car? how is it?  thinking of getting one, the cheapest I could find is from Jonvy auto for &1299. quite expensive, not sure if it's worth getting.

I have a a Pioneer DEH-X6750BT which has far less bells and whistles than the AVH-X8750BT (no airplay/android auto)

It works great for the basic functionality (2 phones simultaneously connected via bluetooth, bluetooth streaming, Pandora etc..). Hard to beat Pioneer sound quality!

My only gripe would be the google apps. Pioneer does a terrible job with most of their apps and I would expect that to be pretty similar with the AVH-X8750BT. (AppRadio App Read the reviews). They so bad that I don't bother with the Pioneer apps on mine.

I suppose it comes down to your requirements. The AVH-X8750BT looks like a bit of an overkill to me. I would probably rather go for a basic Android unit (unless of course if its that applecar play/android auto features you are really after. Can't comment on those! But the Android apps are rubbish!)
