Hi there so today I went and got myself a Sony MEX N4150BT but when I was there I was looking at the Sony MEX N5150BT too. The only difference they told me was the the 4150 was a 2 pre out and the 5150 was a 3 pre out. What does that mean and how will if affect my car audio? The car had a stock audio system atm (2004 or 2006 Toyota Corolla runx)

2 pre out is used for front / rear or rear / sub if running external amplifiers.

With 3 pre outs you can have front / rear / sub all at the same time.

Either is no use whatsoever if you just run the speakers off the head unit and don't use external amplifiers.
