Just had a quick test ride on the Ducati Scramber ... very nice!

Best I start saving .. especially since it comes with shiney goodies that would be a "MUST HAVE!" :-)

Looks kind of weird retro but I like it. Did you attempt any "urban obstacles" with it?

So long as you aren't like the idiot who was doing 232KM/h in an 80 Zone, as suspended driver without his full license, wearing shorts and T-Shirts.

I rode the "Classic" but like the look of the "Urban Enduro", they have most of the range over at Cyclespot on Barrys Point Road in Auckland.

A couple of things I'd change on the bike :

  • Grips would have to be swapped, the standard ones feel nasty
  • It demands a noisy pipe on it, standard one is too sensible, it should be screaming "Look out!!! Get out of my way! I'm lane splitting and you are in my way!!!" :-)
  • And the Enduro would like nicer with chunkier style tyres (and be more useful on the gravel where I am
