So I will be in the city next week and have a international conference to attend between 3pm till 1am.

Any recommendations on where to cark in the CBD for this length of time outside of early bird hours?

Depending on where you are going the Downtown carpark at the PWC building seemed reasonable at $10.

Didn't look how much it would be for your sort of hours though.

It won't be cheap, no matter which company you choose to park with.  Auckland Transports car parks will probably run at around $3 per hour during the daytime, so $15 from 1pm until 6pm, and then a cheaper rate until you want to leave.  You might want to check closing times too, so you don't get locked in.

Where is the conference being held?

I believe the Crowne Plaza hotel.

You could try the Sky City car park as that is kinda 'across' the road from the Crowne Plaza, otherwise there is the tournament car park on Albert Street next to the Crowne Plaza.  I would probably stay away from the Auckland Transport controlled car parks as I'm not sure what time they drop the barriers; think it might be 12am.

SkyCity is the only 24 hour (during the week) carpark around there, however I think they charge $15/hour so it's not cheap.  You could always park on the road?  By 3pm you get people starting to leave the city.

kiwis: I believe the Crowne Plaza hotel.

The Crown Plaza has it's own carpark and it used to be quite reasonable.  Not sure what it's like now  or even if they still run it..

Pretty sure the Crowne Plaza has deals for conference delegates that park in their car park.

I had a morning meeting there once in their conference rooms, and parking was included - just had to get the entrance ticket validated I think.

You should call the hotel.

Park in an Auckland City carpark, NOT Tournament or Wilson's, especially not Wilsons, or you will have to mortgage your house to pay the huge parking fee.  While it may be a bit more of a walk from either the downtown or Victoria St carparks, it will be MUCH cheaper.

after 3pm to 1am at the council Civic carpark will be $21 ($9 + $12).

The $12 flat fee is normally really annoying when you arrive in town to have an evening meal, better to park on the street, but for your purposes it is good, as long as you are out by 1am..
