Looking at purchasing a roof box for a 2013 Holden Captiva 7.

Have already installed some Rhino Racks, looking to top that off with a roof box.

Any pitfalls to avoid ( I  see prices ranging from $499 to well over a Grand ).

Any features that are a must ( dual side opening or single side)?

Thanks in advance.

I have a Thule one which I really like.  The only problem is, it's really long and when located in a sensible position in terms of roof bar loading, it prevents the hatchback (CRV) opening properly.  In retrospect I'd go for a shorter, fatter one but when I bought this (3 cars ago) I wanted to be able to put a bike alongside it on the rack.  So my advice is have a good think about where it is going to be positioned on the roof and how this will affect door openings.
