Wow RB just sacked Kvyat, the only podium for RB, because he smashed into Vettel 2 races in a row. I tell you, Vettel has some say in the the RB camp I reckon!

Ok apparently it's more about promoting Max (to stop him being tempted to sign for other people) than demoting Kvyat. Makes sense, and apt timing.

Max in a competitive car could really be something amazing.

Thats it. I was shocked, as were others. Kvyat is a good driver, for a near rookie. Outscored DR last year, upped his game when Marko got into him. The incident with Vettel two races ago was 100% Vettel's fault. The first hit the other day was Kvyats, and how often does that happen on turn 1 at the start, every race pretty much. The second hit was Kvyat, but as many commentators stated, Vettel wasn't racing, he was easing and caught Kvyat out. What were Perez, Grosjean and Vettel like in their early years, regular rubbish errors. But RBR who I like and follow, want Max, so they took this opportunity to grab him. They could have acted like a man and grabbed him for this whole season.

From here, Kvyat will race Sainz hard to prove a point. That will end in tears for him or offers elsewhere for his future. DR will be under pressure and Max will go for any gap on him, to push his career forward. I see that latter fight being better then Mercedes possibly. (Because I see Mercedes separating their drivers track position wherever they can. )

No, he could be. But I see errors on a regular basis, as his hype and his current skill may be not enough to cater for what I feel will be highly aggressive racing, as everyone's eyes will be on him, and he has the pressure that he's seen as the next big thing. As Stoner said to Rossi a few years back when Rossi took him out “Yeah. Obviously your ambition outweighed your talent.”

Good times!!

As per the thread title, the point is, you take out the golden boy of RBR, the guy who made RBR who they are, two races in a row ... watch out!

LOL, yep. Had last weeks incidents not happened, I bet DK would have been moved anyway. And soon. Pics online between Marko, Max, Jos and someone else chatting at a table, before that race. Conspiracy theory maybe but the more I think about it, the more I feel it was going to happen early season anyway. Cant wait for Spanish GP.

I still stand by my comment.  He was extremely lucky to be in the situation to be able to win that race (although he did drive well towards the end), but a week later showed he's no better than others.
