Hi,

I bought a 2004 Honda Odyssey Japan import. It has a navigation system with DVD navi player which has some Japanese language and is not working. Manufacturer brand is GATHERS.

DVD

I want to remove the player but I don't know how to open it.

Can anyone please guide me how to un- install it.

Cheers!

Mayur

Looking at the picture, the 2 covers on the sides of the radio binnacle will come off, and most likely reveal 4 screws holding it in.

look for guidance vids on newtube. The trick is to pry the plastic apart without bruising it, often very easy to do.

i see you can buy special plastic pry bars for this type of job on aliexpress etc. As @petercad said, the unit will almost certainly have screws at the side ( x2 each side) and those little plastic scallops look like they're in the right place.....

Or take it to local car audio shop, they'll probably have it out in 30s without breaking anything....

This. Take it to the professionals, they don't usually cost much and they're unlikely to break anything.
