This felt worse in reality than it looks in the dashcam footage, and it certainly gave me a fright. When I realised what was happening and started to swerve away from it, the Ute driven by the man who _should_ have been putting out cones and warning road signs, was kind of in my way, so I mostly just drove through it.  The next day the debris was cleared, and it was properly signed and coned.  In all fairness, having driven past when the work was being done, I should have been more careful approaching it, but the sun was in my eyes, and the problem area was in deep shadow.  Oh well.

Jeeze what morons.

PS: You might want to consider removing the GPS coordinates of your house :-)

I'd lay a complaint with the contractors who were doing that work too, you've got clear evidence of them not giving a crap about the public's health and safety.

OMG that could be  fatal to a motorcyclist is that 100kph zone? Its in the braking zone for the upcoming 45kph corner, A bikes front suspension would be already loaded up then hitting that would be big hit.

Send that to police.

cruxis:

 is that 100kph zone?

I used to live not far from there it is a 100 zone.

My younger kids absolutely loved those stop bank dips.

The contractor should be prosecuted.

Bit off topic, but what Dashcam is that - good pic and like the GPS details.
