Fiat introduced the 500L with a built in Espresso machine in 2012.

Considering the potential for lawsuits, involving crashes of distracted drivers or someone getting espresso in their lap while driving, I was wondering of it was still around.

It is.

I guess if you're stupid enough to buy an Italian made car manufactured in Serbia and brew a cup of espresso in your car, you deserved to get your junk scalded by espresso.

I have seen plenty of idiots holding coffee mugs while driving in Auckland traffic.
One day I saw a guy go through an intersection holding a breakfast bowl in one hand and a spoon in the other. Maybe he was steering with his knee?

To be honest, seeing how many people are looking at their phone instead of the road, maybe getting yourself a shot of coffee on the go is trivial by comparison.
