I've got a JDM Mazda6, has a few of the Tech pack features (Keyless Entry, AFS) - Techpack didn't exist on that model!

Can't say i really use the AFS much, It's more of a set and forget thing.

Keyless though is a two edged sword, It's amazing when it works, a pain in the ass if it doesn't. Few proof of concepts out there on how this could be exploited etc..

I am looking for an owner of NZ new Mazda CX-5 (after 2012) with the dash like pictured, LCD on the right has to have fuel gauge horizontal  and not in a shape of a smile (curved down):

So far I can report success of my Japanese to English Dash Conversion process on Mazda CX-5 JDM SkyActive 2012-2014 - Gas and Diesel models:

Mazda CX-5 Dash Conversion

SOP includes Dash Firmware complete back up / back out plan. Auckland-wide.

Potentially can trial that in Wellington.

Today's conversions: Mazda CX-5 2013 Diesel JDM Import. Owners is high-tech software developer. They were using Google Translate before but because of few recent warning notifications decided to have it in English.

After conversion. They have weak main battery (not caused any DTC though) which is now communicated in English:

In previous 2014 CX-5 conversion there was warning about low battery in FOB with corresponding DTC captured by the scanner, owner did not pay much attention to it when it was in Japanese.
