If so - tell us all about it, show off your car - its probably better than my little Nissan club car!

I have another race this Sunday (assuming my neck comes right having slipped a couple of discs on Monday)

No racing now... Wife and kids put a stop to that.

But used to be a part of a team running a rotary powered Mk1 Escort and a RX7 with a Porsche body kit. The team was called FK Racing and was a bunch of guys from around Wellington. Also had a black RX2 Coupe at one stage.

Would love to get into something but no spare $$. But hoping to get one of my sons into karting.

Go on - have a look at my motorsport blog - my "race car" is a grandma bluebird single cam I bought for $400.

Yours cant be much worse!!

We used to have a Porsche 911 Carerra Cabriolet 2005 but now we have a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 2006.

Usually we tend to just go out for a couple of laps around the track, no competing (yet). Thinking of getting somthing for competing soon though.

Nice.

I have a modified SS Commodore thats has pulled 0-100km about 0.1 seconds faster than the factory rating of the '06 Cayenne (5.2 seconds for the Porsche).

Its really tempting to take the Commodore out racing, but its my everyday car, and I would hate to smash it up.

Seems a bit silly to be towing a slow old Bluebird to an event with a fast V8, but the Nissan is heaps of fun to drive!

I am quite keen to put a twin turbo kit on the Commodore as well - 550+hp is attainable without having to do the bottom end up I believe (I have 400hp+ now naturally aspirated).

you dont want to stuff up your main car, at least if you have a racing car you can 'play' with it, and it can be a true toy, rather than one that you have to have always start up on that cold monday morning...

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Yeah - thats right.

It doesnt bother me when I am bouncing the 'ssan off the limiter and to close to my braking point to worry about changing gear :-P
