Hi There

Apology in advance if this is the wrong forum to post this embarassed

Does anyone know if there is a way to retrofit a sat nav system in my 2016 HRV, please ? I don't want to change my factory stereo. I saw something available in Australia. Is there a way to do that in Auckland please? Thanks smile

Sat Nav is great, but these days a smartphone will do, much easier.

Sorry not any help whatsoever to your question, but had to ask...Why?  So you can have an antiquated and poorly designed interface with updates that cost a fortune?  Get a TomTom and stick it to the window.  Cheaper and immeasurably better with free and ongoing software and map updates.  Or just use your phone.

as above, there is not real point in spending the money to achieve it.

You would be better off changing the existing unit and (if still available) the surround, or just using your phone/or a GPS system like a Navman.

Heaps of options out there. I use next maps and have downloaded the offline data for NZ from the play store.

Works quite well and i have a calculator, stereo etc that is fully featured.

Constantly

Its less risky than getting my phone out while driving.

I regularly calculate solar and wattage calculations when discussing things with other staff when driving between job sites.

Thank you everybody for all the great idea, I got a mild case of gadget jealousy upon hearing the 2017 HRV has Sat Nav built in and suddenly my willy shrunk a metre.
