https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_Verisa

Had my eye on one of these for a few years now (either that or a Demio but this one has bigger boot space). They're great looking cars in IMO but damn if they ain't expensive and high kms!
I had a Demio a few years ago and loved it, would love one of these but it's hard finding one below $6000 with low kms. Sometimes I wonder how dealers can justify charging the high prices they do for high kms...

I guess this is proof there really is a target audience for every car! Personally, I find the Demio (and I assume you're meaning the older square model - not the current model, AKA the Mazda 2) one of the least attractive and unappealing cars on the road; I'd acknowledge that the Versia does seem an improvement on the Demio.

Out of interest, what is it about the Demio that you so loved? I imagine it was fairly roomy relative to its size. My problem with it is that to me it looks like a shopping cart on wheels, and sadly I have to admit I'm incredibly shallow in that I normally can't get past the looks of a car, no matter how good it may be underneath. And then we bought a Leaf...

It was small and fuel efficient :) not so great for space when you have little kids (and a pram though). Having said that, I like the Verisa as it has more boot space than the Demio, but it seems much more expensive for not much more boot space?

A bad point about the Demio (or 95% of them anyway) - you cannot change the radio and are forced to use the in-dash piece of crap that comes with the car. Of course, it's set for Japan's FM frequency range, and all you can do is put on a band expander to use it. Forget using Bluetooth or anything like this with it - those built-in radios are absolute rubbish. A pity really.
