Having the winning ticket for tonight's $16 million Powerball draw would help smooth the way perhaps?

You don’t convince her, it’s easier to ask for forgiveness then permission.

She pays for it, you pay for the gas at 27 litre. 650 bhp and not fast enough to get a ticket, priceless.

I think it will just be able to make space for itself ...

I think the going price is 1 carat per partial track slot.

Enjoy.

I'm sure the newly acquired firepower could dispatch the wife without complaint.

how to convice my wife ?

Like this:

Wait 'till evening when wife is sitting back with feet up and glass of wine, favourite TV show about to come on..

You say "Hey honey did you know the Centurion Tank was the most successful post-war tank design, built from 1945 right into the 60's, used in combat right into the late 80'? the Brit's fought with it alongside the Kiwis during the Korean war, with a secret automatic gun stabilisation system,  the Australians used it in Viet Nam. The Israelis modified and used it in all their wars of the 60's and 70's and into the 80's.. Other countries had it in service until the 90's. Modified ones were used in the Gulf War and are still used for specialist uses in many armies to this day.. it's one of the true classic tank designs.

She will say something like - "what? a tank? with a gun? is that what you're talking about?"

Say "Yeah, I've been looking into this. They're a real collectable. Most around the world have been so modified there's not much left of them.. many of the few running original survivors are in the UK, almost all the rest in Europe and they're becoming quite rare. The restorable ones have all been restored, the rest are only good for parts. In the Southern Hemisphere there's just a few ex Australian forces ones.. and of course in New Zealand they're like Hen's teeth.. or Rocking Horse poo.. you'll just never find one.."

She will reply with "Ohh.. nice - I think the cat's hungry, can you go check there's food in the bowl" If you've timed this right, she'll just have refilled her glass and her show will be starting.

Take the next few minutes to describe the mechanical attributes of the Centurion.. "It has a Rolls-Royce Meteor engine, built by Rover.. a few flaws like the cooling system were quickly sorted out during combat.. etc etc.."

She'll be watching TV and say "Hon, my show's on.. I'm trying to watch this.."

Now comes the important part.. say this - as you turn away - mumble it fast, all in one quick sentence..
"soI'vedecidedtoremortgagethehouseandpurchasetheoneontrademebecauseit'saninvestmentopportunitywecan'tpassup"

She will nod or grunt or say "sssh I'm watching this"..

Turn back towards her, and say her name loudly..
She'll look up at you and say "yes?"

Success! ..Your boys will be over the moon! Imagine the first time you drop them off at school! No more issues finding a park at the supermarket..& you'll be able to take care of crushing street racer's cars without involving the police.

(this has worked for me several times.. you can thank me later)
