The e-tron GT uses the underpinnings that Audi developed with Porsche, making it closely related to the Taycan.

That is a wicked looking EV. Pity it'll be far out of my price range.

It is awesome looking but, it comes from the VW/Audi stable so what they say it will do it will never do and if it breaks good luck with that.

True, but then I also quite like this one...

Well, it's an Audi :) It's what I'd expect.

This is what I want my EV to look like :)

That has not been my experience with Audi, and We've owned a few.

Yes, yes it is. Not sure if I'd swap that amazing sounding ICE engine from one though.

Maybe it's a generational thing, but I've never liked this type of look in a car. It's OK, but I'd never buy one. :)

Maybe it'll fit in a coupe version ? Though am sure if you can afford one of those you could get the 'staff' to bring it along in your accompanying i-Pace...

Is that the jag they did make into an ev, or just a random picture of one?

I thought it was pretty cool that Jag took one of their old cars, and swapped out the engine.  Much in the same vein as the Mercury Sponsored Evie ('57 Ford Fairlane)

I believe the electric installation can be reversed if desired. I might even be prepared to put up with one of those false engine noise generator things if I could wander round in one. Anyone know Saturdays winning Lotto numbers ?

I don't know what manufacturers' fascination is with weird box like "trucks" (there's another thread on this on GZ), or SUV/crossover things (I'm looking at your Tesla X).  Where are the Hot Hatches/Mid Sized Saloon/Cabriolets/Wagons?

I agree. My issue with EV's is practicality, build quality (I'm looking at you Tesla) and cost. I would love to replace my Twin Turbo 3 Series with a EV, but I'd be looking at around $160K entry point and that wouldn't have any where near the same performance or handling.

That's a lot of bank to "save the planet". In reality I could balance out the footprint of my ICE with one less flight a year I think.

I have owned two from that stable and both ended badly.

VW or Audi? I wouldn't buy a VW without serious consideration, but I always found Audi and BMW pretty ok.

I saw this a few weeks back in Queensgate. What an awesome thing. The car heart looks like a power plant from Starwars.
