Local aero club?
Mark:
Threats where I just snagged a tank ... now wondering where I can get it closer to home.
Does your ECU know you've put 100 octane in?
I used to buy it from the aero club at Whangarei airport, but that was a few years ago.

Aredwood: Gull Force Pro petrol maybe?

Problem though is that it is 85% ethanol. It is only available at some Gull stations, so check before you visit.
Engine needs to support Fuel Flex to use E85, I remember them launching it in Hamilton back when the V8s were in town and at the time there was only a type of Holden Commodore that could run it.

Yup .. to a point it adjusts. It's a high compression engine so 95 is the minimum from factory it wants and I've fiddled with it and it knocks if I thrash it 😁 want to see if 100 works better.
How does BP 98 fare?
I also have a high compression 2L engine banging out 220kW and 400Nm and it used to shudder when i first got it ... fed it 98 and it is mellow again.
There is a gull on the shore - east coast bays road - which has a pump selling some special fue. (Beyond their force 10)
I do not know what it is but it may be worth checking

How high is high? I wouldn't think anything turbo would be high compression? 11:1 is high.
As for 100 octane, normally airfields have it but the car needs to be expecting it. I have an Integra Type R motor that was tuned on 98 and as a consequence needs to run on it. Though I'm sure it would on 95 in emergency.
