On Tiguan Allspace vehicles of a limited production period the gas-filled shock absorbers on the rear axle may have been fitted with an incorrect welding on the lower securing eye of the absorber.

What to do

Owners will be notified in writing and should make an appointment with their nearest dealership to arrange to have the work completed.
