The Hazard

On Audi Q7 vehicles manufactured within a specific period, major overheating can occur in the area of the interior mirror on the windscreen due to the heating element of the front camera. When the ignition is on, this can lead to smouldering or even to the vehicle catching fire.

What to do

The owners of affected vehicles will be notified in writing. Please note the relevant information supplied by your Importer. Please ensure that all affected vehicles are checked and repaired during the next workshop visit. Make a note of the required recall campaign on the workshop order before it is signed by the customer.
