Does anyone own a Forester from the last couple of years since the new model was introduced?

We’re considering one and I’d be interested in the experience and thoughts of others.

Wow. None? That's surprising.

Subaruforester.org more than you'll ever want. I have a 10yr old with 300k, oil leaks and an O2 sensor issue, but still going great. Not a fan of the CVT trans so didn't upgrade went for a sportage 6 spd.

Thanks. Just be grateful you're not in the UK where the only Forester on sale these days is the less than stellar hybrid!

We've got the SJ model (2015) - and previously had the SG. It has 210,000ks in it now and apart from burning a bit of oil (Needs topping up every 5000k's) it's still running fine with no major repairs since new.

The cabin is spacious and you get a lot of boot space with the seats folded down.. however it is a bit 'cheap' on the inside and it's not the quietest.

Drive wise I 'm a fan of Subaru's handling - I drove a few SUV's and this is the only one I thought handled decently... otherwise I would have likely bought a wagon.
